I’m not a big fan of meal replacements since most of the one’s on the market today are little more than glorified milkshakes. But I’m also a realist, I know that there are times when I need something healthy as I’m running out the door or from one of my classes to the next. Skipping meals isn’t an option for me so the Beachbody Meal Replacement Shake (I prefer chocolate but only because I LOVE chocolate!) is the perfect solution.
I find that it makes a better snack (when made with water and ice) than a meal and provides me with enough calories to keep me full until my next full meal (I eat a “meal” every 6 hrs) but not so full that I am bloated or can’t workout. I also find the meal replacement perfect for a pre-morning workout meal when a heavy breakfast will make me feel sick (especially with about 5 oz skim milk).
We like to keep it on hand for ourselves or the kids when we are running out the door and need a quick option!
